Soccer Recap: Okeechobee Takes a Loss

After flying high against Westwood last Thursday, Okeechobee came back down to earth. The Okeechobee Brahmans might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Centennial Eagles an easy 5-2 win. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Brahmans couldn't quite close it out.

Okeechobee now has a losing record at 4-5-1. As for Centennial, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Okeechobee will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sebastian River at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Centennial also won't see the pitch for a while: their next game is against Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
