Guajome Park Academy extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping their season record down to 3-15 in the process. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rock Academy Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-2 on Wednesday.

As for Rock Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.5 runs over those games.

For Rock Academy's part, Max Gimbel was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts Gimbel has posted since back in March. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

In other batting news, Quentin Uhland was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run. Another player making a difference was Brady Olson, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases.
