Football Game Preview: Lawrence Academy Spartans vs. Roxbury Latin Foxes

The Lawrence Academy Spartans will head out on the road to challenge the Roxbury Latin Foxes at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Lawrence Academy came up short against Buckingham Browne & Nichols and fell 43-32. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (31), the Spartans still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Roxbury Latin suffered their closest defeat since September 28, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of St. Mark's by a score of 6-3. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, the Foxes couldn't push the score so high this time.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lawrence Academy fell to 2-1. As for Roxbury Latin, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
