Baseball Recap: Northwood Comes Up Short

Northwood extended their losing streak to four on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 4-15 in the process. They lost 14-4 to the Patrick Henry Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-3 back in April.

As for Patrick Henry, the victory got them back to even at 10-10-1. 14 seems to be a good number for they as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

For Patrick Henry's part, Aidan Monahan was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Monahan has become a key player for the Rebels: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 7-10-1 otherwise. Waylon Daniels was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one double.

As of now, neither Northwood nor Patrick Henry have any future games scheduled.
