Softball Recap: Warroad Gets the Win

It was close, but on Monday the Warroad Warriors sidestepped the Barnesville Trojans for an 8-7 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Warroad's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Barnesville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-12.

Looking ahead, Warroad will challenge Roseau at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Barnesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
