Basketball Recap: Horizon Science Academy Takes a Loss

Horizon Science Academy's game on Monday was all tied up 27-27 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell to the Lawrence Upper Lions 59-53. The Dragons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Dominic Bell was his usual excellent self, putting up 21 points for Lawrence Upper. The team also got some help courtesy of Guy Caster, who posted 14 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Horizon Science Academy and nudges their season record down to 1-6. As for Lawrence Upper, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Horizon Science Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Reimer Road Baptist Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lawrence Upper has already played their next contest (against Grand River Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
