Baseball Recap: Santa Rosa Takes a Loss

The matchup between Santa Rosa and Analy on Friday hardly resembled the 2-2 effort from their previous meeting. The Panthers fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 14-13. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Mason Rizo made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Mateo Fitzgerald, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Santa Rosa's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Analy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season.
