Volleyball Recap: Fredericktown's Win Ends Nine-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Fredericktown's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Central Rebels, sneaking past 3-2. For the Black Cats, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 win the Rebels walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Fredericktown had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 21-25, 25-22, 25-23, 15-7.

Maggie Wood paced Fredericktown's offense, picking up 23 kills. Wood got some help from Bristol Rehkop and her 39 assists. Wood was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.
