 The Flat Rock Rams will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against the Bedford Kicking Mules at 4:00  p.m. Flat Rock is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8  runs per game  this season.
 In what's become a running theme this season, Flat Rock gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Jefferson as Flat Rock made off with  a  7-1 win.
  Emma Neace and  Ryen Clair made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing,  Neace   didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Meanwhile,  Clair   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Neace has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in six consecutive pitching appearances. At the plate,  Neace  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3, while  Clair  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-2.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Sarah Giroux, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Addi Kopp, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Bedford was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight  defeat. They lost  10-0 to Saline. The  matchup marked the first time this season in which Bedford was not able to get on the board.
 The  victory  got Flat Rock back to even at 7-7. As for Bedford, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
