Buhler posted their closest win since October 26, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Collegiate Spartans 2-1. This was payback for the Crusaders, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Buhler had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-11, 25-17.

Collegiate's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Khloie Villagomez, who had 13 digs and one assist, and Sophia Timme, who had 11 digs.

Buhler pushed their record up to 6-14 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Collegiate, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-13.

Buhler didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Winfield on the 7th. As for Collegiate, they will venture away from home to square off against Clearwater on Tuesday.
