Basketball Recap: Fort Frye's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Fort Frye lost against Waterford back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Fort Frye Cadets took a 35-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Waterford Wildcats. The game marked the Cadets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Fort Frye's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-3. As for Waterford, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 17-1.

Fort Frye will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. Marys at 7:30 p.m. on February 12th. As for Waterford, they will square off against Eastern at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
