Football Recap: Middleton's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Middleton can now relate to. They lost to the Timberline Wolves on the road by a 21-7 margin on Friday. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolves earlier this season, when they won 26-12.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Timberline to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jack Brant, who rushed for 102 yards and one TD, and also threw for 119 yards and one touchdown. Hudson Lewis also helped with two scores in total.

With the defeat, Middleton broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-4. As for Timberline, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Middleton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Timberline, they will take on Coeur d'Alene at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests.
