Recap: Fitchburg Red Raiders vs. Leominster Blue Devils
This season hasn't been kind to the Fitchburg Red Raiders, who are still winless after their 11th contest. They had to suffer through a rough 59-7 loss at the hands of Leominster. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Fitchburg in their matchups with Leominster: they've now lost four in a row.
Leominster's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Osiris Lopez, who threw for 217 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Hatch, who rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns.
Fitchburg has yet to win a match at home this season, leaving them with a 0-11 record. As for Leominster, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.
Fitchburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Leominster also has no future games currently scheduled.
