Softball Recap: University Comes Up Short

If University was riding high fresh off their 19-0 takedown of Shadle Park last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Titans came up short against the Mt. Spokane Wildcats on Wednesday, falling 14-1. The loss continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost four in a row.

University's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Mt. Spokane, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

University has already played their next contest, a 16-6 win against Ferris on the 26th. As for Mt. Spokane, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 14-0 victory against Mead on the 26th.
