Baseball Recap: Madison Blue Streaks vs. Cardinal Huskies
Madison was not the first on the board on Monday, but they got there more often. They walked away with a 9-4 win over the Cardinal Huskies. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Streaks also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Madison got a massive performance out of Daniel Schultz, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave Schultz a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Evan Smith, who went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Madison was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .382. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison will square off against West Geauga at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cardinal, they will take on Harvey at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
