Garrison and Timpson are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2020, but not for long. The Bulldogs will head out to face off against the Bears at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

Garrison is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Beckville just ended the team's nine-match winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bearcats.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 22-25, 25-18, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Timpson had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Wildcats as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Timpson's got stronger as the match went on, holding Waskom to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20, 25-19.

Garrison's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 20-17. As for Timpson, their victory bumped their record up to 19-10.

Garrison took their win against Timpson in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
