Volleyball Game Preview: Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy Archers vs. LEAD Academy Panthers

The Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy Archers will square off against the LEAD Academy Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Monday, Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy came up short against Brentwood and fell 3-1. The contest marked the Archers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16, 18-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, LEAD Academy took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet.

LEAD Academy was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-15, 22-25, 25-21, 15-7.

Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for LEAD Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
