Greeneview waltzed into their matchup on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Cedarville Indians. This was payback for the Rams, who suffered an 11-8 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Max Penrod was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over six innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-5.

In other batting news, Greeneview got a big performance out of Trevor Moore, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4. Moore has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times he's played. Ryver Sweet was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Greeneview's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for Cedarville, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-3.

Greeneview will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Indians: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
