Volleyball Recap: Trinity Episcopal Takes a Loss

Trinity Episcopal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Collegiate Cougars, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

While Trinity Episcopal was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-23, 25-14.

Trinity Episcopal's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Collegiate, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Trinity Episcopal will head out to face off against Veritas School at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Collegiate, they will venture away from home to square off against Norfolk Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
