Cleveland waltzed into their matchup  on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the McCallie Blue Tornado by a score of  9-5. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Raiders also won the last time the pair played  back in April of 2023.
 Cooper Debusk tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out eight over 5.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Charley Atha was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with four  RBI and two  doubles. Those  four  RBI gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Collin Stuart, who  scored three  runs.
Cleveland's win was  their ninth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 12-3. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for McCallie, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
 Coincidentally, Cleveland and McCallie will both be playing Ooltewah the next time they take the field. McCallie will  host Ooltewah at 2:45  p.m.  on Saturday, while Cleveland will head out to face them  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
