Softball Game Preview: Ball Tornadoes vs. Iowa Colony Pioneers

Ball is on an eight-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Iowa Colony a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Ball Tornadoes will be playing at home against the Iowa Colony Pioneers at 6:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Ball came into this matchup off a tough ten-run defeat on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Texas City by a score of 4-2 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tornadoes have suffered since March 12, 2024.

Meanwhile, Iowa Colony came up short against Angleton on Friday, falling 15-1.

Iowa Colony's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Ball, their loss dropped their record down to 3-16.
