Basketball Recap: Lake Country Classical Academy Starts Season with Win on the Road

Lake Country Classical Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past Lincoln Academy, posting a 79-38 win. That's more bragging rights for the Sentinels, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lake Country Classical Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from John Walker, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and ten boards. Walker's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Ryan Low was another key player, dropping a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Lake Country Classical Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Coming up, Lake Country Classical Academy will square off against North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln Academy, they will welcome Durand at 6:00 p.m. on December 4.
