Volleyball Recap: Adrian Comes Up Short

The Adrian Maples came up short against the Grand Haven Buccaneers on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Adrian's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-6. As for Grand Haven, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

Adrian and Grand Haven should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Maples will face off against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (189 vs. 424). Meanwhile, Grand Haven (ranked eighth) will meet East Kentwood (ranked 380th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
