Basketball Recap: Three Straight Road Victories for Martin Luther

Martin Luther won against Oostburg last Saturday with 65 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Martin Luther Spartans secured a 65-59 W over The Prairie School Hawks. This was payback for the Spartans, who suffered a 67-55 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Martin Luther's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.3 points per game. As for The Prairie School, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.

Martin Luther will face off against St. Thomas More at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Martin Luther knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully St. Thomas More likes a good challenge.
