Volleyball Recap: Irving Comes Up Short

Irving was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Pearce Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Irving's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Pearce, they pushed their record up to 22-11 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Irving is set to face off against their familiar foe MacArthur at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pearce will take on rival Berkner at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
