American School for the Deaf put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lexington School for the Deaf Blue Jays, sneaking past 14-12. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blue Jays, too.

Kerializ Maldoando was American School for the Deaf's leading scorer, having posted five points. Diana C held things down on the boards with six rebounds.

Despite the loss, Lexington School for the Deaf still got an impressive performance from Eliana Mera, who posted 11 points and eight steals. The dominant performance gave Mera a new career-high in steals.

American School for the Deaf's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Lexington School for the Deaf, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
