Central came tearing into Saturday's matchup with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Priceville Bulldogs. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-23.

Alexis Fielder paced Central's offense, picking up ten kills. Fielder got some help from Caroline Butler and her 11 assists. Ta'Maya Coman controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Central's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Priceville, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will host Cullman at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Priceville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hillcrest at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
