Soccer Game Preview: Glenn vs. Bremen

Glenn is 0-10 against Bremen since September of 2019 but things could change on Saturday. The Falcons will challenge the Lions at 12:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Glenn needed a bit of extra time to put away LaVille. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Lancers. Glenn haven't had any issues with LaVille recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Bremen kept a clean sheet against Tippecanoe Valley on Thursday. They blew past the Vikings 8-0. Considering Bremen have won five matches by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Tippecanoe Valley with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nathan Schnaible (3), Josue Pepin (2), Alan Barrera (2), and Alex Gallegos.

Bremen now has a winning record of 6-5-2. As for Glenn, they now have a winning record of 6-5-1.

Glenn suffered a grim 7-2 defeat to Bremen when the teams last played on September 4th. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Falcons were down 5-1.
