Basketball Game Preview: St. John's Bluejays vs. Coldwater Cavaliers

The St. John's Bluejays will head out to face off against the Coldwater Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. John's has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

St. John's barely beat Van Wert the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bluejays breezed past the Cougars to the tune of 79-44 on Tuesday. That 35 point margin sets a new team best for the Bluejays this season.

Meanwhile, Coldwater gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 50-35 win over New Knoxville.

St. John's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 71.3 points this season. As for Coldwater, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

St. John's strolled past Coldwater in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 64-49. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bluejays since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
