Basketball Recap: Tri-Valley Has No Trouble Against Eldred

Tri-Valley won the last time they faced Eldred and things went their way on Monday too. The Tri-Valley Bears blew past the Eldred Yellowjackets 52-26.

Despite the loss, Eldred still got an impressive performance from Olivia Gonzalez, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 boards. The match was Gonzalez's third in a row with at least ten points.

The victory got Tri-Valley back to even at 1-1. As for Eldred, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-Valley will square off against Onteora at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Eldred, they will take on Fallsburg at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Eldred is facing Fallsburg at the right time seeing as Fallsburg is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
