Baseball Recap: Southern Nash Firebirds vs. Northern Nash Knights

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Stanly, Southern Nash was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Northern Nash Knights by a score of 8-3. The Firebirds have beaten the Knights the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Knights has come to flipping the script.

Maddox Deans was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Kwamaine Battle, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Southern Nash kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northern Nash only managed two hits.
