Soccer Recap: Gaffney Takes a Loss

Gaffney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the James F. Byrnes Rebels. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Indians struggled afterwards.

Gaffney now has a losing record of 3-4. As for James F. Byrnes, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gaffney will head out to square off against Boiling Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Gaffney is facing Boiling Springs at the right time seeing as Boiling Springs is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for James F. Byrnes, they will take on Dorman at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
