Football Game Preview: Pace Patriots vs. Milton Panthers

The Pace Patriots will square off against the Milton Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pace is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

Pace will bounce into Friday's game after beating Navarre, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 41-21 margin over the Raiders on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won seven matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Milton scored first but ultimately less than Niceville in their contest on Friday. They lost 45-21 to the Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Pace will need to focus on slowing down Antonio Middleton, one of several Milton players who made an impact when they last played. He rushed for 113 yards while picking up 7.1 yards per carry.

Milton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of David Aboya and Kaiden Hall.

Pace's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Milton, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.

Everything came up roses for Pace against Milton in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 48-0 victory. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
