            Weiser is 1-9 against Homedale since May of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Monday. The Wolverines will head out on the road to  face off against  the Trojans  at 5:00  p.m. Weiser will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
On Friday, Weiser got the win against Baker  by a conclusive  8-1. Considering the Wolverines have won ten matchups by more than six  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.

 Madi Janicek spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a  run (which was  unearned)  on one hit and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Taylor Mordhorst was a standout: she scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Ali Navarrete, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, Homedale came up short against Payette on Wednesday and fell  11-7.
  Hadlee Brown made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
 Weiser pushed their record up to 10-2 with the  victory, which was their ninth straight  at home dating back to last season. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for Homedale, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record  this season.
 Weiser suffered a grim  11-1 defeat to Homedale  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024. Can the Wolverines avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
