Volleyball Game Preview: Valmeyer Pirates vs. Chester Yellowjackets

The Valmeyer Pirates will square off against the Chester Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Valmeyer turned things around against Lebanon on Thursday. They came out on top against the Greyhounds by a score of 2-0.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Chester, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Sparta last Thursday.

Chester easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18.

Chester's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Valmeyer, their victory bumped their record up to 4-14-1.
