Volleyball Recap: Pebblebrook Takes a Loss

Pebblebrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the McEachern Indians. The Falcons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

While Pebblebrook ultimately came up short, they really made McEachern work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-21.

Pebblebrook's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for McEachern, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-11 record.

Pebblebrook and McEachern could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Falcons (ranked 192nd) will meet Bremen (ranked 36th) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, McEachern will face off against Mount Pisgah Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (302 vs. 93).
