Basketball Game Preview: Moscow Wildcats vs. Minneola Wildcats

Moscow is 2-8 against Minneola since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Moscow Wildcats will take on the Minneola Wildcats. Minneola took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Moscow, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Moscow was able to grind out a solid victory over Deerfield, taking the game 35-26. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly nine points.

Meanwhile, Minneola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 53-42 to Ingalls.

Minneola's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Moscow, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

Moscow barely slipped by Minneola when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 40-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Moscow since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
