Basketball Recap: South Windsor Bobcats vs. Windsor Locks Raiders

The South Windsor Bobcats's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They snuck past Windsor Locks with a 65-59 victory. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Windsor Locks lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kyle Hinckley, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. Jack Grasso was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.

South Windsor's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10. As for Windsor Locks, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-4.

South Windsor will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Tolland is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Windsor Locks, they will head out on the road to challenge the Tigers at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Sports & Medical Sciences Academy will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
