Softball Recap: Leroy Falls Short of Woodland in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Leroy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Woodland Bobcats by a score of 7-6 on Wednesday. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leroy's loss dropped their record down to 25-12. As for Woodland, they are on a roll lately: they've won 27 of their last 32 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 35-9 record this season.

Leroy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woodland, they will face off against Spring Garden at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
