Softball Recap: Robstown Takes a Loss

Robstown fell victim to Calallen and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 14-0. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Cottonpickers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Robstown's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Calallen, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Robstown and Calallen will both be playing Tuloso-Midway the next time they take the field. Robstown will head out to face Tuloso-Midway at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Calallen will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
