Volleyball Recap: Wiseburn- Da Vinci Takes a Loss

Wiseburn- Da Vinci and Esperanza squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Wiseburn- Da Vinci had to settle for second. They came up short against the Aztecs, falling 3-0.

Andre Pimienta paced Wiseburn- Da Vinci's offense, picking up 15 kills. Pimienta got some help from Malakai Tuakoi and his 24 assists.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci's loss dropped their record down to 19-16. As for Esperanza, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-11 record this season.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Esperanza, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Newbury Park at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Aztecs surely won't give up without a fight.
