Football Game Preview: Crowley Gent vs. Mamou Demons

Crowley is a perfect 3-0 against Mamou since October of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Gent will be playing at home against the Demons at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Crowley is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 42 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Ville Platte on Friday. They and the Bulldogs were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered a 13-12 loss.

Meanwhile, Mamou lost 41-16 to Church Point on Friday. The Demons haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Mamou's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Crowley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Crowley was able to grind out a solid victory over Mamou in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 36-28. Will the Gent repeat their success, or do the Demons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
