There's no place like home for Friendship Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took down the Clarksville Academy Cougars 42-26 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Commanders in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won four in a row.

Friendship Christian was led to victory by Blake Waldorf and Ryder Wolcott. Waldorf threw for 310 yards and two TDs while completing 81.8% of his passes, while Wolcott rushed for 115 yards and a pair of scores.

Despite the loss, Clarksville Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Cj Snodgrass threw for 244 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per attempt. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrayas Scott, who picked up 157 receiving yards.

Friendship Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Clarksville Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Friendship Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 28-13 win against Ezell-Harding Christian on the 26th. As for Clarksville Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 23-16 victory against Montgomery Central on the 26th.
