Softball Recap: Homer Beats Olivet for Their Third Straight Victory

Homer put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Olivet Eagles get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory.

Homer got a massive performance out of Brooklen Minix, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Julie Masternak was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-1.

Homer was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .318 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Homer's win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Homer and Olivet will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time Homer sees the field they'll take on Grass Lake at 4:00 p.m. on April 8. As for Olivet, their break will end when they face Western at 4:00 p.m. on April 7.
