Joseph Edwards Phillips Delivers Best Performance of Season

Joseph Edwards Phillips produced his most outstanding game to date while leading St. Vincent de Paul to the win on Saturday. Phillips picked up 127 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August of 2023.

The win (which was St. Vincent de Paul's tenth in a row) raised their record to 11-1. Phillips and St. Vincent de Paul will challenge Sonoma Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Gabe Casanovas was instrumental in extending St. Vincent de Paul's winning streak to ten on Saturday. Nobody could stop Casanovas as he threw for 284 yards and four touchdowns on only 19 passes.

On the season, David has thrown 27 touchdowns while averaging 187.6 passing yards per game.

Maria Carrillo had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Caturegli it was a similar story. Caturegli rushed for 104 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also picked up 69 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Pumas duked it out two weeks ago.
