Basketball Recap: Malik Brown's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Heritage over Harmony

Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Harmony Longhorns, falling 62-40. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Longhorns from their previous meeting back in December of 2018.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Malik Brown, who posted seven points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole O'Brien, who had nine points.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Harmony, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heritage will take on Sebastian River at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Harmony, they will square off against Gateway at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Harmony is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.
