Baseball Recap: Le Roy Extends Road Winning Streak to Nine

It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Le Roy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Livonia Bulldogs 14-13. That's two games straight that the Oatkan Knights have won by just one run.

Jake Higgins was excellent, going 2-for-5 with three runs and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Brady McClurg, who went 2-for-5 with two runs.

Le Roy's win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9 runs. As for Livonia, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-5.

Le Roy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Livonia, they will host Hornell at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.73 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
