Basketball Recap: Patton Comes Up Short

Patton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 56-19 loss at the hands of the East Rutherford Cavaliers. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 62-13 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bella Harris went supernova for East Rutherford, putting up 19 points. Another player making a difference was Saige Harris, who posted 12 points.

Patton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for East Rutherford, their record is now an identical 3-10.

Patton will take on R-S Central at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Rutherford, they will square off against Hendersonville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hendersonville will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something East Rutherford surely won't give up without a fight.
