Soccer Recap: New Kent Victorious + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but New Kent had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against the Lake Taylor Titans by a score of 4-2. New Kent's offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last four games.

Diego Jimenez was the driving force of New Kent's attack as he scored all four of New Kent's goals, bringing his season total up to 19 goals.

New Kent now has a winning record of 8-7-2. As for Lake Taylor, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

New Kent will face off against Colonial Heights on Tuesday. Colonial Heights will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something New Kent surely won't give up without a fight. Lake Taylor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
