 Waccamaw is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Gilbert is on a six-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Waccamaw Warriors will take on the Gilbert Indians at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Both teams come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Waccamaw is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Brookland-Cayce  an   8-0 shutout. Considering Waccamaw has won 12 matches by more than two  goals this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.

 Meanwhile, Gilbert was not the first on the board  on Thursday, but they got there more often. While the  1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Gilbert who was credited with the  win. Gilbert got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to Beaufort's three.
 Waccamaw has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven games,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-6-1 record  this season. As for Gilbert, their victory bumped their record up to 18-6.
